Popular South African comedians Alfred Adriaan and Marc Lottering (Alfred & Marc) have joined forces to present their best material from the past few years. Both comics have been consistently packing out theatres locally and abroad, and their fans can expect two hours of sheer hilarity.
Saturday, June 15, 2024, was no different. Alfred & Marc brought their latest comedy show to Westridge High School in Mitchell’s Plain, Cape Town, and it was a hit from the start. The duo displayed unrivalled chemistry, having the audience in stitches from the outset.
Marc Lottering is a well-known South African comedian celebrated for his sharp wit and engaging storytelling. Hailing from Cape Town, he has been a prominent figure in the comedy scene for over two decades. Lottering’s humour often revolves around his personal experiences and observations of life in South Africa, especially his upbringing in the Cape Flats.
He has released several successful stand-up comedy shows and has ventured into television, theatre, and musical performances. His unique style and relatable content have earned him a wide following both locally and internationally.
Alfred Adriaan is another standout comedian known for his relatable humour and energetic stage presence. Coming from the small town of Hankey in the Eastern Cape, Adriaan draws heavily on his personal experiences and cultural background to craft his comedy.
He has garnered a significant following through his stand-up performances, which often explore everyday life, relationships, and social issues with a humorous twist.
