Netflix’s popular Addams Family spin-off, ‘Wednesday’, has recently returned for a second season. However, this season seems to struggle with a lack of focus and overcrowding of characters.
From Dark Humour to Confusion
The first season of ‘Wednesday’ was well-received for its clever balance of dark humour and mystery. Ortega’s Emmy-nominated performance as the enigmatic Wednesday Addams was a highlight of the show. The injection of more characters into the plot without adequate development has led to a disjointed narrative, leaving the audience struggling to keep up.
